Second Death Completed

I finished the 2nd hat for Hat Attack II. I love the colors of this one! I hope Miss Ornerie loves her fall colored warm and fuzzy end. Darth Tater does look a bit shocked by his own.

My Hat Attack II hat went out in the mail today! My target's imminent demise is on it's way...a warm fuzzy demise. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out. I'm glad I am getting a hat too! I wonder when it is going to arrive...my assassin has been very quiet about my impending death. I hope my target likes it, and on to the next one! *i can't believe i'm still alive!!*

Fall is in the air

I can feel it getting closer every day! The mornings are brisk, and the leaves are beginning to turn. I don't know if I'm ready for it, like that matters. I appreciate not having to run the air conditioner! It has been a cool summer overall, only getting really hot for a few weeks. Keep telling me about global warming *rolls eyes*.

It gets me in the mood for knitting big fuzzy sweaters! I have one on my to-do list, just have to finish my other sock, my Hat Attack hat (deadline to sign up is Sept 8), some arm/wrist warmers...and on and on and on. Good thing I like hanging out at home! I'm trying to figure out when I became a homebody...must have been recently. I can spend the whole weekend without feeling the need to go anywhere, and I love it :)

New Sock

Yep, just one *heehee*. I finally finished a cable sock, and I'll be starting a new one tonite. I'm going to try a new method, Magic Loop knitting. It is supposed to work with small circumferences without having to use dpns. It will be interesting! The sock looks really odd. It is a nice dense knit, but with my feet, it appears to be really long and skinny.

OH! One of my eggs hatched too :)

Hat Attack!!

I signed up for Hat Attack. It is going to be a blast! It lead me to a wonderful website, Ravelry. It's nice to know there are twisted knitters out there. The projects are fabulous! I can't wait until the pattern for HA is released. I'm not anticipating lasting too long, but you never know. Zombie knitting works too *heehee*. The project calls for advanced beginner, so jump in if you dare!!

Dragon Eggs!

Ok, I am a fantasy nut...I love dragons, fairies, all that good stuff! I'm trying to hatch a dragon egg, so click on it so my baby will come on out :)

I was bored for a few minutes and browsing around other sites and there must have been half a dozen with the same look as mine. There may be several out there that have the same look now, but at least I can customize the header (which happens to be the same as this one 'cause I like it).

Another ACEO

I love these cards! I think I may put too much time into them, but what the heck! This is another little one with a unicorn called "Sunrise Gift." I may put it up for sale on Etsy...I just have to decide if I can part with it.

The polar bear has been sent on vacation. I have too much time invested to completely throw it, but I have been getting frustrated with it. Too much white white to get a good finish on black paper :(

Website is back!

I have been busily updating my website. It doesn't take long for it to become frustrating heehee. I have been making beads and jewelry on a regular basis as well. It feels so good to be back in action! I even have some stuff listed on Etsy! Now all I have to do is figure out how to get the mini-Etsy shop in the side bar LOL!
